Pontiac Ceiling & Partition constructed North Suites and Club Amenities renovations at the home of the Detroit Lions Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.

Our contract included suites, bars, lounges and restaurants on the second, third and fifth floors of the North side of the arena as well as the Corner Lounge Sports Bar on the second floor and additional fire proofing work on both the North and South sides of the project.

Turner Construction oversaw the $100 million plus overall renovation that included new sound systems, lighting, AV equipment and suite renovations of the entire South side premium seating, suites and lounge areas. PCP’s over all final contract of nearly $1.2 million encompassed approximately 7,000 work hours with nearly 500 of those work hours on overtime to meet a three-and-a-half-month schedule completed by the beginning of August, in time for the Detroit Lions to start their 2017 Pre-season schedule!  Similar arena project renovations have taken nearly 2 years to complete with the quality achieved at Ford Field!

Rossetti Architects design included specialty items for PCP to procure and install such as decorative metal baffle ceiling blades and translucent polycarbonate walls in the Millennial Club. Many intricate soffits and walls with approximately 100,000 SF of drywall, cement board and plywood were laid out and constructed by one of PCP’s top Project Foreman. A multitude of decorative stainless steel and clear anodized expansion joints and trim pieces were also provided and installed by the PCP labor force.
