The East Lansing Center City project consists of a 12-story student living tower (Grand River Bldg.) and a 10-story Senior living tower (Albert Avenue Bldg.). The Grand River tower is constructed of a light gauge steel stud panelized wall system from the 2nd to the 12th floors and the Albert Avenue tower is the same from the top of the 5th floor parking garage to the 10th floor, making this a unique construction project. There is virtually no structural steel from the podium levels to the roofs of either building. The demising walls are also panelized and support the steel decking and concrete floors that each successive floor is built upon.
