PCP is excited to work with Christman Construction on what is to be the first new veterans’ home in Michigan in many years. This new facility will provide care in a modern, home like setting that is veteran and family centered. The four neighborhood buildings are 29,000 square feet each surrounding a 33,000 square foot community center. The facility will house 128 members. PCP had the exterior of this building panelized off site in over 115 panels and 300 trusses per building. This enabled PCP to keep a very aggressive schedule. To maximize the panels we had the sheathing, vapor barrier and the windows installed at the fabricator. This is one of seven of these new facilities that will be built in Michigan over the next 10 years.
